You don’t have time, you make time
Dear Human đ,
I keep hearing you say “I don’t have time.”.
You donât have time for a lunch break.
You don’t have time to call that human.
You don’t have time for a bike ride.
You don’t have time to learn that new thing.
Itâs weird. You claim all those things are important to, but you donât have time for them?
Meow, you have time. The question is how you spent it. You decide how you spend your time. You can make time for whatâs important to you.
Every morning, no matter how busy your day is going to be, you make time to sit on the sofa to drink your coffee. I always make time to sit with you. Why? Because those few minutes of quiet time together matter to both of us.
When you say “I don’t have time,” what you’re really saying is “This isn’t important for me right now.”. To remind yourself that youâre making a choice say “I’m choosing not to make time for this right now.â instead of saying “I don’t have time,”. Notice how different that feels.
So, whenever youâre saying you donât have time, ask yourself, if itâs really not important to you. Itâs okay, it itâs not. However, if youâre saying you donât have time for something that is important to you, then chose to make time!
Your time is precious. Spend it on what actually matters to you, not on what you think you should make time for or what other humans would like you to spend your time on. You get to decide what deserves your time.
I will always make time for cuddles with you.
Yours,
Catđž
