Dear Human 💕,

Lately you’ve been thinking a lot about humans who are gone. Friends. Family. Humans you wish were still here. Humans who left way too soon.

None of us knows how much time we have. Not you. Not me. Not any of the other humans.

Maybe you’ll live to 100. Maybe you’ll be gone tomorrow.

Stop saving your life for later. Stop thinking you’ll enjoy your life once things calm down. Stop putting off time with your humans because you’re too busy or too tired or you’ll see them “soon.”

Soon isn’t guaranteed.

None of us gets forever. Not even me, and I have nine lives.

So enjoy this life while you have it. Enjoy the time with your humans while they’re here. Enjoy the time with me on the sofa. Enjoy the small moments. Don’t wait.
